Milt and Jamie Lee have co-produced many projects together. Rather than try to stuff them all into one website, some of the projects have their own sites. Below are links to each site with a short description of what they are.
Oyate Ta Olowan--The Songs of the People
Oyate Ta Olowan--The Songs of the People.
During the 90's we traveled 110,000 miles into Indian Country while producing a landmark native music and stories series for public radio. Each program is 30 minutes long (plus it includes the full music on a second track) and features a musician or storyteller from one tribe. A couple of the shows (Mexico) feature multiple tribes and ceremonies recorded during a 5-day even in Trebol, Mexico. Also listed on this site are a number of other hour long documentaries that we have done for national public radio.
Video Letters from Prison
This is our first full length film documentary that aired nationally in 2010. The film traces the story of three young Lakota girls who meet their incarcerated father via video letters. They have not seen him for over 10 years and this heartwarming film shows the many changes that come from reconnecting with Dad. We are currently offering screenings of the film with forum discussions for a variety of groups concerned with incarceration or the state of the American Family.
